Jason Seutter – Patient Care Coordinator
Jason Seutter is our Patient Care Coordinator who ensures the best for each patient. From financing options to answering any questions you may have, he is available as one of the Patient Coordinators to assist you throughout your journey with us at Surgical Arts of Virginia. He has been a part of the SAOFVA family since our first facility opened in 2008.
Jason has two beautiful daughters. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors and cooking together.

Brittney Fisher RN, BSN, RNFA, CNOR – Practice Administrator
As a Virginia transplant, Britt is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her BSN from Jacksonville State University and hasn’t stopped her pursuit of learning yet. She is a Registered Nurse with over 11 years in Surgical Services performing in various capacities over the years including circulating & scrub nurse, first assisting and management. Now she joins our team as she pursues her passion to embolden and encourage others to live their best lives through the world of esthetics and cosmetic surgery.
Britt has many passions that keep her busy. Her main hobby is keeping her four children entertained and out of trouble. When she’s not doing that she can be found at a Virginia winery, a hiking trail, in the kitchen cooking Louisiana faire, brewing hard cider or even making homemade soaps.
Sarah Washington – Front Office Coordinator
My name is Sara Washington. I have eight years of office experience with two years of medical experience.
I am originally from California but I moved to Virginia when I was 6 years old and enjoy seeing the seasonal changes.
I am an Air Force wife and have one son and two chihuahuas. In my free time I love to try new food places, spend time with my family, exercise and do eyelash extensions!

Fiona Meyer – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / PRN
Originally from Scotland, Fiona Meyer LPN is our Surgical First Assistant. She aids the surgeon/RN during operations and medical procedures, assembles the OR before and after surgery, reviews patient health history and previous medical conditions with Dr. Palmer, oversees laboratory studies and performs close follow-up care and patient teaching pre/postoperatively.
Fiona graduated from Kee Business College as CMA in 1997 and continued her education at Career Training Solutions, where she earned her LPN in 2007. With 20+ years’ experience in various positions within the medical field, she has worked in an urgent care setting, a rehabilitation hospital, and a medical/surgical unit as a floor nurse.
Fiona is caring at heart and passionate about helping people and making a difference in their lives. She finds that the medical field is exciting and ever-changing with great opportunities to advance, learn and expand knowledge. She considers the small team at Surgical Arts of Virginia to be her work family.
Fiona is recently engaged, and is a mother of two. Her daughter is a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and is currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Her son recently began driving. She loves tackling home improvement projects and spending time outdoors, especially near the crackle of a bonfire.
Heidi Harper – Registered Nurse (RN BSN) / PRN
Heidi Harper, RN BSN, has been a nurse since 1999 and is licensed in Virginia. She specializes in administering IV medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and assisting Dr. Palmer during all surgeries. She also performs pre-op patient preparations and post-op patient recovery care.
Heidi graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Presidential Honors in 2017. She also graduated from Excelsior College with an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2006. She has over 18 years of hospital experience working in the Emergency Department, Critical Care, Telemetry/Medical Intensive Care, Pediatrics and Mother/Baby Units.
Heidi maintains certifications in:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Basic Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Stroke Certification
- Conscious Sedation Certification
Heidi has lived in Virginia since 2000 and is married to her husband Jeff. Together, they have three children and are the proud grandparents of one granddaughter.
James Diaz – Surgical Technician
James Diaz is our CST (Certified Surgical Technologist). James has many years of experience in surgery centers, including VCU Medical Center and USPI Surgical Center of Central VA. James plays a vital part of the team, where he prepares operating rooms for surgery, ensures all equipment is properly sterilized. He prepares patients for surgery. James works closely with Dr. Palmer and the nurses during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies. He ensures surgical procedures run smoothly.
James has strong core values, integrity, responsibility, and compassion for his patients. He always has been surrounded by medical influences: his mother is a registered nurse, his wife is a radiation therapist, and his son is also pursuing a career in the medical field. James is a family man. He is a parishioner of St. Mary’s and an active member of the church. He spends many hours volunteering and serving our community.
Cate Campos – Master Aesthetician, LME
Cate has practiced as an Aesthetician since 2016. She has practiced in the fields of Dermatology and Holistic Aesthetics. Her passion is for the care of everyone’s skin needs. She prides herself in the care of people’s skin care with: Chemical Peels, Laser Skin treatments, Skin tightening with Radiofrequency, solution-focused facial services, micro-needling, lymphatic drainage message, microdermabrasion, and the Physician grade skin care products.
Cate continually maintains her education in the ever-evolving esthetics world with training and certifications in the latest and best treatments for each individual skin care needs.
Cate makes individual skin care programs for her 300+ clients. As each person’s skin care needs are different and changing.
Cate is an outdoor and animal enthusiast. She likes live music and spending her down time with loved ones and her cat Ginger
