Meet R. Shane Palmer, MD. - Cosmetic Surgeon
Dr. Palmer’s philosophy is simple. Cosmetic surgery should be more attainable and affordable without sacrificing quality. Dr. Palmer and his dedicated staff strive to accomplish this every day at Surgical Arts of Virginia and Ageless Innovations.
Dr. Palmer graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1995. He completed residency training in general surgery at Yale University Affiliated Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut in 2001.
Dr. Palmer has been performing cosmetic surgery since 2006. Dr. Palmer’s training was obtained through The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the preeminent cosmetic surgery organization offering post graduate training in cosmetic surgery. Through the Academy’s specialized meetings, hands-on workshops, and qualified mentorships, Dr. Palmer continues to learn of the latest techniques and to expand his mastery of cosmetic procedures. Dr. Palmer’s newest interest is in Stem Cell Therapy.
