As we age, repetitive facial motion results in lines and wrinkles, and loss of volume in the facial area. These issues can be modified with dermal fillers, cosmetic injectables that can restore lost volume and the youthful silhouette of your face.
What Is Belotero?
Belotero is a dermal filler that revitalizes aging skin, fills in fine lines and wrinkles, and replenishes sagging skin to reveal a more youthful appearance.
New to the world of injectables, Belotero is one of the lightest dermal fillers available. It’s a hyaluronic acid injectable filler that can significantly improve your appearance by eliminating fine lines around the mouth and eyes. Belotero can also replace lost volume under the eyes and along the cheeks.
Benefits of Belotero
Belotero can improve:
- Crow’s Feet
- Nasolabial Folds
- Marionette Lines
- Lip Lines
The benefits of Belotero are visible immediately after treatment, as the body’s collagen supply builds up, the results will continue to improve over time.
Is Belotero Right for Me?
Candidates for Belotero should be in good health with realistic expectations. Anyone experiencing fine lines, hollow eyes, or sagging cheeks may benefit from Belotero. It is safe for all skin types and ethnicities, however patients with skin conditions, such as pimples, rash, cysts, cold sores, or hives, should delay their Belotero treatment until the condition has completely cleared.
What is the treatment like?
Belotero is administered via a small needle, patients may feel a slight pinch and a topical or local anesthetic may be applied to ease any discomfort. A Belotero treatment takes up to 30 minutes to perform in the comfort of our medical spa.
No downtime is necessary following your Belotero treatment. Most patients resume normal activities that same day. Patients may experience minor redness, swelling, and bruising at the treatment site following the procedure. Side effects are often resolved within 7 days of the procedure.
Results typically last 6-9 months, additional treatments may be required once the benefits of Belotero have started to fade.
